The annual more than 25.000 overnight stays in the International Meeting Centre of St Marienthal and the convent show that our guests feel the special charisma and are comfortable with us.

Ora et labora, praying and working together is the maxim of the Cistercian convent. We want to interpret this rule in our today's world: to work fully concentrated, to be social, to have time for praying, to wine and dine as well as a lot of culture surrounded by a beautiful nature. The peace of reflexion as well as the atmosphere of the convent can be felt everywhere. Therefore St Marienthal is also a site on the cultural route Via Sacra.
